CRIME update for July 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Lenton Triangle Police beat area during the month of July. 

Burglaries residential = 2

Delayed report 07/07 – Between 23/06 and 07/07 Cottesmore Road – Student property, television and garden table stolen with damage to locked interior door.

07/07 Cobden Street – Spade used to break in by smashing window, phone, keys and car stolen.

Criminal Damage = 2

Delayed report 04/07 – 26/06 Ilkeston Road – 2x males have followed driver and kicked car on passenger side door in annoyance causing a dent.

03/07 Sandpiper Way – Children from neighbouring property have caused damage to shed. 

Theft of motor vehicle = 1

07/07 Cobden Street – Vehicle stolen using keys stolen from address.

Theft from vehicle = 3

04/07 Heron Drive – Vehicle registration plates stolen off vehicle.

15/07 Cottesmore Road – Bag containing work clothes and racing helmet stolen from within.

26/07 Rothesay Avenue – Apple AirPods stolen from within.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
